L'Oréal Paris Welcomes Actress Elizabeth Banks As New Spokesperson

MONTREAL - January 21, 2009 - L'Oréal Paris has signed one of Hollywood's most sought after young actresses, Elizabeth Banks to an exclusive worldwide contract as a spokesperson for the brand and its products. She joins a dream team of L'Oréal spokespeople including great A-list actresses, singers and models. As a spokesperson for L'Oréal Paris, Ms. Banks will appear in new advertising campaigns debuting in Canada in March 2009.

A native of Massachusetts, Ms. Banks received her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Pennsylvania and her Graduate Degree at the American Conservatory Theatre. Today she is one of Hollywood's top young actresses with cinematic hits in 2008 including "W" (a biopic on U.S. President George W. Bush), "Zach and Miri Make a Porno," "Role Models" and "Meet Dave".

Other acting credits for Ms. Banks include roles in "Seabiscuit," "Catch Me If You Can," "Invincible," "Fred Claus," "Slither," and all the "Spiderman" films. On the small screen, she can be seen in a recurring role as "Dr. Kim Porter" on NBC's hit television series "Scrubs".

Ms. Banks is scheduled to star in "Uninvited" and "Lovely Still" in early 2009.
