Spirit, Honour, Tradition, Haggis - Fionn MacCool's Pays Tribute to Robert Burns on January 24

Robert Burns, Scotland's best known poet, is admired and remembered around the world on Robbie Burns Day (January 25) for his poetry that celebrates natural love, the enjoyment of sociable drinking and the pride of the self-reliant man and woman. In honour of this famous Scot, Fionn MacCool's on the Esplanade will be hosting a Robert Burns celebration on January 24 from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Fionn MacCool's "Robert Burns Celebration" features a number of great photo opportunities with Toronto's liveliest Robbie Burns Night revelers:

Exclusive Dewar's Scotch Whisky Masterclasses – join the fun, or sit back and watch, as partiers participate in intimate scotch tasting sessions and share scotch talk throughout the evening.
Ceremonial Cutting of the Haggis – a Robert Burns celebration is not complete without a traditional Haggis and Fionn MacCool's has cutting ceremonies planned for 8 p.m. and 12 a.m. A traditional whisky toast to the Haggis and Robert Burns will follow the cutting. Guests will be invited to sample the Haggis.
Whisky Toasts and Robbie Burns readings – patrons will honour and remember Burns with hourly whisky toasts and readings from his works.
Live Entertainment – Quagmyre and Daylight for Dead Eyes will keep guests entertained.

Fionn MacCool's (www.fionnmaccools.com) is located at 70 The Esplanade, Toronto.
